Your information

Privacy

This page explains what the DBS Resource Center asks visitors to provide and where information goes.

Browsing the education pages

You can read the public education pages without creating an account or providing a medical history. Standard hosting and traffic-measurement systems may process technical information such as browser type, approximate location, referring page and pages visited.

Requesting DBS updates

The current update form opens a pre-addressed message in your own email application. Your address is not sent until you choose to send that message. Doing Life Today will use the request to contact you about new DBS education and research updates. You may ask to stop at any time.

Do not include a diagnosis, medication list or other medical details in an update request.

The DBS Conversation Builder

The Conversation Builder runs in your browser. Your answers are not submitted to Doing Life Today. They remain visible on your device until you leave or refresh the page, and you control whether to print or save the result.

Links to The Club, research sponsors, study registries and source organizations lead to services with their own privacy practices. Read their notices before submitting personal or medical information.
